Shoot The Dead Studio blog!
We had a great time recording our new EP over the weekend in Brighton! Despite recording the songs through Terry Wogan's old mixing desk we think the songs turned out pretty good!
As the day progressed, the session descended into "Sgt Pepper" territory with Glockenspiels, Megaphones, Gang vocals and crazy guitar noises all making a appearance on the finished demo! Jamie smashed the shit out of the drums so much so that he has now destroyed his back and can barely walk. Oh dear.
Saturday was spent mixing so we basically sat around for twelve hours in silence while trying to keep Andre away from the mixing desk which took all of our skill and mental concentration.
We are headlining the providence in Brighton on the 22nd so we hope to be seeing some of you there!
